How to Get a Library Card

Your Library Card gives you access to books, audios, DVDs, Videos and databases within the Library and from home.

Marbletown Residents

To borrow library materials, we ask that you fill out an application giving us some information about yourself for our computer. You will need to show some form of identification and proof of residency such as a driver’s license, or if you are new to the area, an envelope, such as a phone bill recently mailed to your new address. You will be given a card with your patron number which will give you immediate access to library materials. Cards are available for children over the age of three.

Rochester Residents

The Town of Rochester has contracted with the Stone Ridge Library in 2017 to provide 238 paid family memberships to its Rochester residents. Additionally, the Library is providing free memberships to all Rondout Valley Students.

Rochester patrons can renew their memberships in person beginning Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 10am. They are given out on a first come, first served basis. Due to demand for memberships we will not be able to automatically renew 2016 membership cards.

Non-subsidized family memberships will be available after the 238 free memberships have been given out. Non-subsidized family memberships are available at $52.45. per year. The rate schedule below shows the cost of a family membership for the balance of 2017 depending on which month it begins.
