WiFi, Computers & More

The Library provides free high speed wireless internet access 24/7. Bring your laptop to the Library or work at one of the tables in our beautiful yard.

We have two computers with high-speed internet access for research, browsing and email. Printing is available for 20 cents per page (black and white) and .50 cents per page (color).

Library Computer Guidelines:

  • Please sign in on the clipboard next to the computer.
  • Time limit is 90 minutes per day
  • Do not download onto any media (flash drive, hard drive, or other memory). Computers are strictly for viewing and printing.
  • Computers may be used for games providing no one is waiting for a terminal.
  • Computers shut down 15 minutes before closing.
  • Adult or sexually explicit websites may not be accessed.

Failure to comply with this policy will result in suspension of computer privileges.

Museum Passes

Hudson River Maritime Museum

The library has four passes available to our patrons to visit the Hudson River Maritime Museum throughout the year. The Maritime Museum is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the maritime history of the Hudson River. The museum houses collections documenting maritime transportation, industry, recreation and natural science. It is also the home of the Wooden Boat School, the Sailing and Rowing School, and the floating classroom Solaris. The passes can be used either by individuals or a group. They should be checked out from our circulation desk and returned to library. Plan a visit to this wonderful local resource soon!

Mohonk Preserve

The Mohonk Preserve is New York State’s largest visitor and member supported nature preserve with 165,000 annual visitors and 8,000 protected acres of cliffs, forests, fields, ponds and streams. The Preserve maintains over 70 mi of carriage roads and 40 mi of trails for hiking, cycling, trail running, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and horseback riding. It is also a major destination for rock climbers, hosting 50,000 climbers each year who enjoy more than 1,000 climbing routes. 4 passes are available; each pass admits one person; pass must be presented to staff upon demand for entry/access to the property; and must be visibly displayed while visiting the preserve. Hours: Sunrise to 1 hour after sunset.

Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum

The Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum offers a Public Library Complimentary Guest Pass. This pass is valid for up to 5 people for entry to the Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum only. It is not valid for the President’s Home or any of the other Roosevelt sites. Stone Ridge Library Patron can request a pass at the circulation desk during regular Library hours. The Pass must be presented and surrendered to the Roosevelt Presidential Library Staff at the time of your visit.
