March 13, 2020
To Our Library Patrons:
After much thought and consultation with the Library Board of Trustees, we have decided to close the library, effective Friday March 13 at 5:30 as a precautionary measure in an effort to help contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus in our community. While we have had no incidents at the Library, we believe this decision is prudent and follows guidelines being offered by health authorities.
All in-person services at the library are suspended at this time, including all children’s and adult programs and inter-library loans. We are asking patrons with materials checked out to keep them at home until we reopen. All fines will be waived during this time.
On-line services such as downloadable books and audio books, as well as databases continue to be available to our patrons.
Please check back for updates as they occur andfor links to our on-line services. We will re-assess this decision as developments unfold in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your cooperation.
