After Work Yoga with Laura

Marbletown Community Center
In a collaboration with the Town of Marbletown we are thrilled to be able to offer quarterly month long sessions of yoga. Our first session begins September 20-October 11 and will be held at the Community Center. Registration is required individually for each class.
Please be sure to bring your yoga mat and any blocks or straps if you use them. The library will have extra mats and blocks if needed. As with any exercise class, be sure to check with your doctor before starting.
Let's Move with the Library
Thursdays, 12-1 on Local Rail Trails
We’re back in action! Join Sarah and your friends and neighbors as we take weekly walks along local rail trails. Each week we will walk from 12-1 on our gorgeous O&W and Wallkill Valley Rail Trails.
No registration required. Just check the location on our website and meet us at the trailhead.
Our walking trails schedule is as follows:
1st Thursday of the month: O&W rail trailhead on Leggett Road Parking Lot
2nd Thursday of the month: WV rail trailhead at the Trestle Bridge Parking Lot
3rd Thursday of the month: O&W rail trailhead at the Cottekill Fire Dept. Parking Lot
4th Thursday of the month: WV rail trailhead at the Women’s Studio Workshop Parking Lot
5th Thursday(If there is one): O&W rail trailhead at Rest Plaus Parking Lot

Teens After Hours Game Night
After hours game night for teens ages 15 to 18. If you enjoy group games, come and join in the fun. Games will include Sushi Go, Just Desserts, Sparkle Kitty, Catan and more. Snacks will be provided. Registration is required. The library doors will open at 6pm and close at 6:15pm so be here on time for an evening of fun. This group meets the first Friday of each month from 6-8:30pm.
The October meeting will be on Thursday, October 5th due to conflicts with homecoming.
Mahjong
Every Tuesday and Friday
at 10am in the Activity Room
If you are a Mahjong beginner, join us for our Tuesday group. No registration is required. We do encourage players to wear mask while entering and exiting the library, but once you are in the Activity Room, it is up to the group’s discretion.
Friday’s Mahjong group is for more advanced players. New, experienced players are welcome. Come join in the fun!
Knitting Group

The Stone Ridge Library Knitters meet every Saturday morning from 10am – 12noon. All ages and experience levels can join us and drop-in knitters are also welcome. We each bring our own supplies and do our own work, but one of the best things about us is that whatever obstacle or confusion you might encounter, you’re likely to receive as much comment and advice as you need to get where you’re going with a project.

If you are a Mahjong beginner, join us for our Tuesday group. No registration is required. We do encourage players to wear mask while entering and exiting the library, but once you are in the Activity Room, it is up to the group’s discretion.

Tea Time Book group meets the second Tuesday of each month at 1pm in the Activity Room.

Our After School Story Hours will take a look at Art and Artists.
Simple art projects, a look into famous artists, and accompanying stories. Learn about Pollock, Monet, Van Gogh, Warhol, Picasso, and Matisse.
